Very light and easy to handle. Like the way it comes apart and turns into a canister vac. Very high suction, sometimes too much but it does have a suck adjustment.

Very powerful, easy to empty the canister, and frankly costs less than the Dyson, but works very much the same. Is also very light weight. Although it is basically plastic, it is surprisingly sturdy for that.  Read more at

This is by a huge margin the best vacuum I’ve ever owned. Easy to use. Light weight.. Quiet. Plus the amount of dirt it picks up is simply amazing. I highly recommend it.

This vacuum works very well. I have had it more than a year and it still works like new.

Should You Buy The Shark Navigator Lift-Away Vacuum (NV352) Cleaner?

Well many people said that this vacuum cleaner was a lightweight, easy to use vacuum with great suction. However like all mechanical things some are better than others. There are obviously negative aspects to this vacuum cleaner as there always will be but on the whole this was given a good report—

Many customers also purchased the following extras:

Shark Navigator Lift-Away Foam and Felt Pre-Filter Replacement Kit 2-Pack;  $16.50

HEPA Filter To Fit Shark Navigator Lift-Away   $21.77

For your guidance.

A large number of modern vacuum cleaners no longer use a bag; instead they use a container that can easily be emptied. However to do this these models must use a filter (usually a HEPA filter) to capture the fine dirt particles that collect.

This filter will usually need regular cleaning and on certain situations will need to be replaced. This raises another problem-replacement filters can be considerably more expensive that bags. Some vacuums that use bags may in fact also use filters and these together can keep the fine dirt filter cleaner in good condition and even prolong its useful life.

Remember though that cleaning a filter and clearing out the dust bin can be a dirty job, and handling it may expose you to dust and other allergens.

Weight (lbs.)

If you expect to carry your vacuum up and down stairs, consider a vacuum less than 20 pounds.

Brush on/off

An on/off switch for the rotating brush lets you stop the brush from rotating when using tools and this will stop scattered dirt from collecting on bare floors. It also reduces the possibility of injury if the vacuum cleaner topples over when being used. It also reduces the risk of damaging a carpet or the finish of a bare floor if the vacuum sits in place at the low-height setting.

If you are looking for a more basic inexpensive vacuum cleaner why not look at the  Eureka EasyClean Hand-Held Vacuum, 71B

The Hoover WindTunnel Air Steerable Upright Vacuum, UH72400 is also available at at a very reasonable price.
